home chemistry salt experiment

Task one : the plan


1.we need to find out how much salt there needs to be in water before it wont freeze over night.

2.how will we find it out? we well pot 5 glass of water in the freeze over night each with a different  amount of salt.

3.how will we record what we find out. we well check to see what ones are frozen and write it in on our blog.

4.what equipment be we need for the experiment. salt, water, freezer, five cups,  spoon, vivid.

5.how long will it take. over night

task two: the procedure


step 1: get a five cups full of water

step 2: get a vivid and write the numbers on the front of the cups

step 3: no salt in the first cup. one tea spoon of salt in the second one. 2 in number 3. 3 in cup 4 and 4 in cup 5.

step 4:put them in the freezer for over night.

step 5:the next morning take them out of the freezer and test them to see how frozen they are.

step 6: write down what we frond out on our blog.
