intro - kiwi can is now kiwi kaha for year 7 & 8.

Tamani - did the cone flip  he came 3rd place - they had two cones with the first cone they had to filp it and land it with the second cone they had to flip that cone on top of the aver one...

Jesse - did keep the ballon off the ground - they had to blow a bubble and see who can get to the other side with the bubble...

 

Jayden - eat cookie no hands - they had two cookie they had to put the cookie on there fore head and they had to try get it in there mouth with out drooping it on the ground if they drooped it on the ground they had to restart...

Rarotonga and Shanaria - de balloon transporters - there were to people they had there back together but they had a ballon in between them and they were not allowed to drop the ballon they had to walk from one side of the room the the other side with out drooping the ballon on the ground...

 

Zack - did the yes / no water gun - there was a teacher and a kid the teacher had to ask the kid question and they were not allowed to say yes or no if they said yes or no they got scored in the fast with water... 

Hans - did the spaghetti pasta, loading penne pasta - they add a pinch of pasta in there  mouth and they had to get the past off the table with out using there hands to get it off the table...

Science Scones

Aim: To Look At diffrent kitchen Ingredients in scones and there Effects.

The Recipe My Group chose:

3) Without Butter and with lemonade

Dirty Water experiment

Aim: To Make dirty water clear by making a filter using household materials.

Materials:

1. plastic bottle
2. sand
3. pebbles
4. fillter papper
5. scissors
6. craft knife
7. dirty water 

Process:

Step 1: Cut the bottle in half to form a funnel and a container for catching the water.

Step 2: Fold filter paper into quarters then unfold so that it forms a cone shape.

Step 3: Sand was then put on top of the filter paper.

Step 4: Pebbles were put on top of the sand

Step 5: Dirty water was put on the sand and pebbles.

Step 6: Watch and wait to see what happens.

home chemistry salt experiment

Task one : the plan

1.we need to find out how much salt there needs to be in water before it wont freeze over night.

2.how will we find it out? we well pot 5 glass of water in the freeze over night each with a different  amount of salt.

3.how will we record what we find out. we well check to see what ones are frozen and write it in on our blog.

4.what equipment be we need for the experiment. salt, water, freezer, five cups,  spoon, vivid.

5.how long will it take. over night

task two: the procedure

step 1: get a five cups full of water

step 2: get a vivid and write the numbers on the front of the cups

step 3: no salt in the first cup. one tea spoon of salt in the second one. 2 in number 3. 3 in cup 4 and 4 in cup 5.

step 4:put them in the freezer for over night.

step 5:the next morning take them out of the freezer and test them to see how frozen they are.

step 6: write down what we frond out on our blog.
